Of the 25 applicants who began the final phase of this 1st ‘Llíria City Of Music’ Orchestra Conducting Competition this week, the number of applicants has already been reduced to 6, who have qualified, after 2 elimination phases, for the semifinals. The list of young directors, in alphabetical order, who will fight for a place in the final is:

This Thursday, already in the theatre of the Unión Musical de Llíria and starting at 6:00 p.m., these 6 professionals will conduct a new rehearsal, this time for 25 minutes, with a usual dynamic to the collection in the phases previous. The work which they will conduct is the ‘Symphony No. 29 in A Major. Kv. 201 ’by Wolfang A. Mozart. Only 3 contenders will be chosen to fight in the grand final.
